I’ve tried tracking my expenses before, but I often ended up abandoning the practice. Skipping recording once made it easier to skip again, leading to a feeling of falling behind and rendering my records inaccurate.

Eventually, I gave up on the process, realizing it wasn’t yielding any results and didn’t offer much analysis beyond the percentage of money I spent on certain items. Reflecting on this, I believe we need to change our approach. Instead of simply focusing on recording expenses, the app should aim to make the process engaging and enjoyable with positive reinforcement, such as having users create and sign declarations to commit to their goals.

It should motivate users to return regularly, similar to how social media platforms capture users’ attention. To achieve this, we’re incorporating psychological incentives to encourage user engagement and goal achievement. We’ll also create a page for tips on saving money through integration with GPT and approach analytics in a more positive manner by showing net income growth and how unnecessary purchases can be controlled through positive money growth graphs.

Additionally, it’s vital to ensure the app’s sustainability for long-term use. By simplifying expense recording and reducing resistance, we aim to establish a new habit of consistent tracking. Ultimately, the app’s effectiveness will hinge on its simplicity, ease of use, and straightforward yet powerful functions.
