It’s been over 5 long years since we started developing Giftsy. When we first started we didn’t think that it would take this long, but things happened — as they do!

At times we thought we would have to give up on Giftsy, but the one thing that kept us moving forward was our vision: creating an online community marketplace where our users feel safe, supported and cared for, and at the same time work together to solve the global environmental challenges we are facing.

When we started working on Giftsy, people asked why they should take the time to exchange or gift clothing when they could buy clothes new and drop them off at Goodwill when they were done? But now people have learned that the current disposable culture is not sustainable, and are looking for ways to to shift the way they live. Giftsy is an easy and effective way to start.
